Scientymed S.r.l. was established in 2002 by doctor Alessio Paneraj, born in Cuneo on the 16th December 1974, which for years has been responsible for the development of a few product lines has interventionist radiology, sugical dialysis and emodynamics in one of the piedmontese companies leading in the distribution of medica-surgical instruments.

In January 2003 Scientymed became distributor for Lombardy of the Japanese mark ASAHI, a multinational company which in October 2002 acquired a business branch (dialysis sector) of the TERUMO Corporation. The concession of the distribution of the products ASAHI MEDICAL allowed Scientymed S.r.l. to have a very wide range of products and to plays itself on excellent market positions, considering both the products at issue have a very high level quality and Lombardy is the Italian region with the highest number of hospital companies.

Scientymed S.r.l. was born as a distributory in Lombardy of dialysis products, but, since it is a dynamic and versatile company, it has developed a product together with a staff of medical sector specialists for the cure of vertebral collapses, that is the vertebroplasty, planning a "kit" that today turns out to be one the most established even if the use of this technique is still at dawn.

In January 2004 Scientymed S.r.l. acquired the distrubution for the Piedmont and the Aosta Valley of a few product lines of WILLIAM COOK EUROPE, a multinational company already working on the italian market, intended for interventionist radiology, vascular surgery and hemodynamic laboratories. The product list of WILLIAM COOK EUROPE comprises thoracic and abdominal prosthesis that allow to cure pathologies in hight life risk patients. In October 2004 doctor Alessio Paneraj decided to change Scientymed S.r.l. (Limited Company) into Scientymed S.p.A. (joint-stock Company) to conform the company to the growing development.

The company's legal and commercial seat occupies 250 square meters destined at officias and 500 square meters destined to stock for the storage and the working of goods, it is placed in the industrial area of Settimo Torinese, but it has very narrow relationships with the zone of Modena which saw in the last 30 years a huge development in the biomedical field.

The company obtained the EN ISO 9001-2000 certification and it has the know-how, the capacity to plan, to realize and to distribute medical-surgical instruments of high technology.
